"The Bold New World of Urban Gardening: Transform Your Balcony, Porch, or Rooftop into a Fresh Food Oasis with a Vertical Garden Tower"

There’s a growing problem with our food supply. Today, even if you are well-informed, you have almost no way of knowing for sure where your food comes from, how it’s handled, or what’s being added to it. Now you can…

Fresh food. It’s what your health and well-being depend upon.

And when you can’t answer basic questions like where your food came from, when it was harvested, who handled it and how, or what’s in it, that’s a serious problem. Your health deserves answers – and the right ones.

As you’re probably aware, the use of genetically modified seeds, the weed killer Roundup (glyphosate), and other dangerous pesticides is growing almost as fast as a desert wildfire.

And the toxic traces they leave in your food are things you can’t wash off, no matter how hard you try, as Roundup is integrated into every cell of the plant.

Even if you’re lucky enough to live in an area that supports local farmer’s markets, you can only buy what the farmers bring. If you don’t have access to one, you’re dependent on your local grocery store for your fresh food. We already know that can be the source of some of the riskiest food around…

Isn’t it about time you took control of your own food? To have abundant amounts of fresh food that you know are free of GMOs, glyphosate, and other herbicides and pesticides? Food that’s teeming with nutrients and at the perfect stage of ripeness, just begging to be eaten?

I’m convinced that what I’m about to share with you is one important answer to our worldwide food crisis.

Never tended a plant in your life? The good news is… You don’t need a “green thumb” to join in on this massive, growing movement…

Why You Need to Grow Your Own Food – Even If You Don’t Have a Green Thumb

nutrient dense foods

One look at this image on the right says it all…

In 1998 you had to consume 26 apples to get the same amount of iron ONE apple provided in 1950. And it’s even worse today!

What’s happening to our food?

The introduction of industrial agriculture has seriously damaged the soil’s ability to provide you and your family with nutrient dense foods.

Over the years, minerals have vanished faster than the soil microorganisms could replenish them. The use of fertilizers and pesticides has also radically reduced soil microbes. And toxic pesticides have effectively killed the microorganisms that provide the nutrients needed for plant growth and nutrition.

The introduction of genetically engineered (GE) seeds and glyphosate in the 1990s made what few minerals were left unavailable to non-GE plants!

It’s become clear that if you want nutrient-dense foods, you need to take matters into your own hands.

I highly recommend you seriously consider starting your own garden to supply fresh, organic foods to your family. But I know that not everyone has the interest, space, or time to do this

Which is why I’m going to tell you about a simple way you can dramatically improve the quality of your food using a unique “Ultimate Patio Farm”…

How the "All-in-One" Garden Tower Works

See for yourself the wonder of the Garden Tower with this informative video.

Your plants' roots find their way to the nutrient-rich fertilizer contained in the center column

As I just mentioned, the vertical Garden Tower is both a composter and a garden – an all-in-one system.

With over 40 pockets and a large, top growing area, it provides plenty of space for you to plant all your favorite vegetables, and even flowers, if you choose.

The center “vermicompost” column is designed to take your unwanted kitchen scraps. For extra nutrient-rich compost, I recommend adding red wiggler worms to your kitchen scraps along with a small bit of other materials like shredded paper.

As your scraps turn into compost, the roots of your mature plants naturally find their way to the vermicompost, or natural fertilizer, contained in the specially designed, perforated column.

If you’ve added worms, they will continue to create some of the finest fertilizer from your kitchen scraps in their own self-contained, nutrient dense, organic fertilizer system.

US Cities Begin to Require Food Composting

Your 4-Step Guide to Creating Organic Fertilizer

  1. Add 2-10 inches of kitchen scraps to center column of your Garden Tower.
  2. Add ½ to ¾ cups of red wiggler worms (for worm castings compost).
  3. Regularly add kitchen scraps. The worms will create compost (fertilizer) in about 90 days.
  4. Pull out on handle to empty compost into the easy access drawer. Pour compost on top of tower to enrich soil.

San Francisco was the first major US city to require its residents to compost their food scraps. In fact, it’s recycling about 166,000 tons of food waste per year.

And now others are following its lead. Even New York City has its own pilot programs.

Let me ask you… They’re your organic food scraps. Why not put them to work for you?

With the Garden Tower, recycling your food wastes is clean and easy.

After about 90 days, you end up with two valuable gifts for your Tower and any other plants you might have: rich compost and nutrient tea.

So, depending upon where you live, you may already be separating out your food wastes. Now there’s a way you can put them to good use…

Lush, Rich Soil, Teeming with Beneficial Microorganisms

Plants thrive in nutrient-rich soil

If plants could dream, this would be it.

Lush soil chock full of minerals, nutrients, and beneficial microorganisms.

You can improve the quality of your soil and replenish minerals by adding:

Making Worm Tea – As Easy As 1-2-3!

The Rich Benefits of Worm Tea

Plants love worm tea for many reasons:

  1. Acts as a soil conditioner
  2. Helps create colloidal humus
  3. Provides many minerals, nutrients, and beneficial microbes for healthy soil
  4. Naturally repels mites, white flies, aphids, and other pests when poured over foliage

When you pour water over the top of your Garden Tower, some of it naturally seeps through the holes of the compost tube.

The excess water collects nutrients and settles at the bottom, where it drains away from the compost and gathers in the container beneath the drain.

This is what’s known as “worm tea,” or “nutrient tea” as some prefer to call it.

Obviously, you don’t drink this tea. But your plants (both in the Garden Tower and elsewhere) absolutely love it.

When you feed it to your plants, it provides minerals, nutrients, and beneficial microbes essential for healthy soil.

And here’s an added bonus: spray or pour your freshly made worm tea over plants to naturally repel mites, white flies, aphids, and other pests.

The end result is healthy, productive plants, teeming with the nutrients your body needs to thrive!

Your Gardening Water?

Dry, arid growing conditions are becoming the norm. And that doesn’t bode well for the future of growing abundant nutrient-rich food. Clearly we need to find a way to improve soil quality so plants can grow and conserve water at the same time.

water shortage
Water shortages are becoming commonplace

The Garden Tower’s unique vertical design achieves both objectives:

  • Provides rich nutrients and beneficial microbes to the soil.
  • Protects plants and promotes faster growth by creating an insulating microclimate.
  • Exposes less soil surface than a traditional container or garden, resulting in far less evaporation.
  • Enables recycling of 100 percent of excess water and nutrients with its easy-to-access nutrient collection drawer.

Once your plants become established, the vertical system only requires watering from the top, making bi-weekly maintenance fast and easy.

And a quick word about weeds – any gardener’s arch nemesis. Because there’s less soil surface, there’s far less chance of weeds taking hold!

You WON’T Find Any PVCs or Toxic Materials Here

food grade plastic
The Garden Tower is made from safe, food-grade plastic and contains no toxic materials

One of the first questions I asked was, “Are these materials safe?” After all, they are touching your food!

I’m pleased to report that the Garden Tower is made of sturdy, high density polyethylene (HDPE) – pure, safe, FDA-approved food-grade plastic.

It contains absolutely no PVC, BPA, phthalates, or other chemicals suspected of causing hormone disruption.

And the terracotta colorant is UV-inhibited so it resists fading and won’t break down.

With a 3-year warranty, the Garden Tower is designed to provide years of maintenance- and hassle-free use.

Something I especially appreciate about the Tower is that it’s user-friendly for seniors, the handicapped, and even school-age children.

The Garden Tower is easy to unpack and quick to set up. The heaviest weight you’ll have to lift out of the box is about 18 pounds. The base comes preassembled.

Now there’s no reason to stop anyone from having his or her own organic garden!

Top 5 Frequently Asked Questions
  1. 1. Q: What kind of soil mix works best in the Garden Tower and how much will I need?

A:You will need about 5 to 6 cubic feet of high-quality potting soil. Use commercially available potting soil that is sterilized to prevent the spread of weeds and plant-borne diseases.

For best results, I recommend adding one part of my Sprout Doctor Soil Enhancement to 10 parts of potting soil. The blend of organic kelp meal, organic worm casings, organic compost, and sustainable biochar will enhance your soil’s quality and provide the foundation for healthy plant growth. Then continue to spray the vegetables every week with our Ionic Ocean Minerals.

  2. 2. Q: Which should I plant in my Garden Tower – seeds or starter plants?

A: You can grow a wide variety of vegetables, herbs, and flowers – both edible and ornamental – from either seeds or plants. It’s your choice. However, I prefer to start seeds in flats and then transfer the strongest, healthiest plants to the Garden Tower.

If you use seeds, be sure they don’t contain any GMOs or dangerous pesticides. Some popular seeds do. Look for the “Safe Seed Pledge” to support companies who care about safe seeds and preserving heirloom varieties.

  3. 3. Q: Does it matter what I plant where?

A: There are no hard and fast rules, but here are some general guidelines as to what works well with the Garden Tower:

    • Use plants like peppers, carrots, beets, leeks, onions, garlic, eggplant, turnips, tomatoes, and amaranth on the top. Most other plants will grow well from the side holes.
    • Vines such as summer squash and compact melons can trail onto the ground if you plant them in the bottom holes.
    • Balance large bushy or tall plants with compact plants to create a “mosaic effect” for best yield. For example, three cabbages or broccoli plants cannot grow next to each other, but they can grow very nicely surrounded by lettuces or other compact veggies.
    • Pay attention to the rate at which various plants mature. For example, a cabbage takes about 10 weeks to fully mature. Leafy greens take about 4 weeks, so you can grow them before the cabbage steals all the light!
  4. 4. Q: What can I put into the compost tube?

A: If you are using worms (which I recommend), you’ll want to avoid things that are difficult for the worms to eat, like avocado pits or corncobs. Otherwise, all types of vegetable and fruit scraps can go into the compost tube. The smaller the scraps, the faster the worms will make vermicompost.

Never put any meat, fat, bones, or dairy products into the compost tube as they require very different methods to compost properly and will make a mess if you put them in.

For best results, add “bedding or bulking” materials along with your kitchen scraps. These materials include torn or shredded cardboard, shredded paper, peat moss, and even handfuls of potting soil. It’s not required that you do this but your worms will be healthier and you’ll end up with better compost.

Bedding materials helps maintain compost airflow and drainage and adjusts the nutrient balance for the right amount of decomposition. Add one part bedding for every two parts of kitchen scraps (a 1:2 ratio).

Be careful not to “stuff” the compost tube. You want only natural compaction as the worms will quickly minimize your kitchen scraps.

  5. 5. Q: How will I know when to water? Is it possible to overwater?

A: Water wicks upwards in the Tower, so the best place to test the soil for dryness is a pocket in the lowest row. If the soil feels dry to your finger, give the Tower (from the top) a heavy watering. If the soil feels slightly moist, a lighter maintenance watering is all you need. If your plants look droopy or dry, you need to water.

Water your Garden Tower to what’s known as “field capacity” no more than twice a week. This is when the soil is fully hydrated throughout the Tower and water runs out the system.

You don’t need to worry about overwatering since there is a drain at the bottom, but too much water can affect the healthy aeration of your soil and compost.
