   A: There are 12 bars per box.




2. Q: What is the shelf life?
   A: There is a 1 year shelf life.
   


3. Q: Where and how should I store this?
   A: We recommend storing this in a cool dry place.
   


4. Q: Is it gluten free?
   A: The Cocoa Cassava Bars are gluten free. However, they are not manufactured in a gluten free facility.
   


5. Q: What is the age recommendation?
   A: They are recommended for all ages – in moderation.
   


6. Q: Are any ingredients in the product organic?
   A: Yes, they are all USDA certified Organic.
   


7. Q: Is it safe to consume while pregnant or nursing?
   A: Yes, as long as the person is not allergic to any of the ingredients or on a restricted diet then this is suitable during pregnancy.
   


8. Q: Is it safe for Diabetics?
   A: We recommend contacting your health care provider before consuming this product.
   


9. Q: Are there any medical conditions or medication that should not be used in conjunction with this supplement?
   A:There are no known warnings against consuming the Cocoa Cassava Bars while on medication or having a medical condition. However, you may want to contact your health care provide to ensure the safety of consuming this product.

    A: They are placed in a wrapper, and then put into a box.

    A: They are neither Kosher or Halal certified.

    A: There is no corn present.
    


13. Q: Does it contain or is it manufactured in a facility that processes any type of Soy, Dairy/Milk, Casein, Wheat, Yeast, or Nuts?
    A: They do no contain any dairy, soy, yeast, wheat or casein, and are processed in a facility that are free of these common allergens as well.
    
    The bars contains almonds and the facility is not nut free.
    


14. Q: Is it free of animal byproducts?
    A: Yes, this is free from animal by products.
    


15. Q: Does it require refrigeration?
    A: No, they do not require refrigeration. However, in high temperatures the bars will melt, and we recommend placing them into the refrigerator (or freezer) until they solidify. Placing them in the refrigerator (or freezer) will not compromise any of the ingredients, and you will still receive all of the health benefits.
    


16. Q: Is this recommended as a meal replacement?
    A: It is recommended as an alternative for poor eating when healthy food is not available while on the run or too busy. We would recommend this as a snack and not a full meal replacement.
    


17. Q: Is there a recommended amount you should consume per day?
    A: As these are energy bars they should be used in moderation.
    


18. Q: Will this help you lose or gain weight?
    A: This will not assist you with losing weight. If too many are eaten this can cause you to gain weight.
    


19. Q: What type of chocolate is used?
    A: Raw Organic Cocoa is used.
    


20. Q: What is the sweetener used in this product?
    A: Organic Cassava Syrup is used.
    


21. Q: Is this recommended for vegetarians/vegans?
    A: Yes, it is recommended for both.
    


22. Q: Are there any health benefits related to the chia seeds?
    A: Chia seeds are one of the most powerful, functional, and nutritious superfoods in the world! The chia seed is an excellent source of fiber, packed with antioxidants, full of protein, loaded with vitamins and minerals, and the richest known plant source of omega-3. Everyone from children to senior citizens can benefit from the wonderful nutritional qualities of chia seeds.
    


23. Q: Are the bars free of pesticides and herbicide free?
    A: Yes, they are; they are USDA organic.
    


24. Q: Is the cassava syrup in the bar raw? If it is, then how do we process it to ensure there are no "cyanide-like substances" present in the final product?
    A: The starch is thoroughly washed which removes most of the cyanide products. It is then caked and flash dried, which will remove the remainder.
    
    In addition, during the syrup processing, the starch slurry reaches 105 C. The starch manufacturer does monitor the cyanide levels.
    


25. Q: Why isn't sunflower lecithin listed as organic?
    A: There is no organic sunflower lecithin available, but the lecithin that we use has been approved as organic compliant, which means that it is processed in a natural enough way to comply with organic standards and be allowed in an organic certified bar at levels under 5%.
    


26. Q: Why does the label list Organic Sugar?
    A: The organic sugar is in the organic dark chocolate coating. The organic chocolate coating requires a sweetener in order to be palatable.



27. Q: Is this considered cold processed?
    A: It would not be considered cold-processed, but it is processed at the lowest possible temperature to ensure all nutrients remain intact and stay within organic guidelines.
